Dedicated to fostering a humanized lighting environment, MEAN WELL DALI-2 Digital Lighting Controller DLC-02 offers end users a greater range of configurable applications and settings. The following components, in particular, have had their software interfaces R2.4 and product functions optimized:

1. Daylight Saving Time

Daylight Saving Time (DST) is the practice of advancing clocks (typically by one hour) during warmer months in United States, Canada, and Australia, and European Union. The typical implementation of DST is to set clocks forward by one hour in spring ("spring forward"), and to set clocks back by one hour in the fall ("fall back") to return to standard time. The "DLC software" allows users to adjust the start and offset of summer and winter time.
The following is the time that European daylight saving time officially begins: Every year, it begins at 2:00 on the final Sunday in March and finishes at 3:00 on the final Sunday in October.

 




2. Sequence

The sequence function allows users to create a series of one-time or recurring light source adjustments. The DLC-02 supports 16 sequences, and each sequence may set up to 17 different types of shifting effects, such as changes in light color, brightness, and color temperature, etc. These effects can be managed by DALI panel switches to create a darker lighting environment that is appropriate for bars, KTVs, and other occasions.

3. Diagnosis

"DLC software" has a built-in DALI bus communication diagnosis function. When user encounters a problem during on-site debugging, he can perform diagnostic analysis, read the communication data between DLC-02 and DALI equipment, and can also download the data report and forward it to the relevant technicians of MEAN WELL so that MEAN WELL technicians can assist users remotely.
