The "CommonWealth Talent Sustainability Award" survey continues the "Corporate Commitment" indicators established by the " CommonWealth Excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility Award," creating an independent award evaluated by six quantitative indicators: talent well-being and healthy workplaces, diversity, equality and inclusion, talent investment and growth, talent composition, compensation and rewards, and compliance with basic labor conditions. This evaluation and identification of the best talent sustainability enterprises in Taiwan is one of the key ESG awards.

Shared Prosperity: Building 100+ ESG Enterprises
MEAN WELL is dedicated to strengthening ESG investment cooperation among global industrial partners, promoting mutual prosperity. We have partnered with related enterprises to establish a sustainable development fund, aiming to cultivate over 100 ESG enterprises by 2030. Currently, 28 companies are officially operating, with 2 in preparation and 4 projects in planning.

SDG Academy: Cultivating a Sustainable Future
MEAN WELL officially established the SDG Academy in 2023 to nurture sustainable talent for the SDG Group. Participants who complete over 90 hours of courses can obtain an SDG Academy certificate. So far, 48 participants have received certificates, representing 13% of the company. Additionally, MEAN WELL regularly invites experts and professionals from the ESG field for sharing sessions, broadening employees' horizons. We hold one to two SDG seminars monthly in physical and online formats, open to all external partners for registration, collaboratively enhancing sustainable knowledge.

Actively Investing in Employee Training, Up to One Month's Salary
In response to the rapid changes in industry and technology, MEAN WELL continuously prioritizes employee training as the core of talent management. In 2023, the average internal training hours per employee reached 32 hours, with an average training expenditure of NT$12,510. In addition to internal professional courses, we promote external training, providing each employee with an external training subsidy equivalent to one month's salary annually and encouraging knowledge sharing after training.

Attentively Listening to Employee Voices with Annual Surveys
MEAN WELL understands that employees are the cornerstone of corporate success, so it regularly conducts employee satisfaction surveys. Over the past three years, the response rate has exceeded 98%, with an average satisfaction score of over 70. These data serve as crucial references for improving the workplace environment and enhancing employee engagement.

Creating a Happy Workplace for a Better Future
MEAN WELL is committed to creating a friendly work environment, providing health check-ups every two years, and encouraging employees to form health clubs by offering subsidies and weight-loss competitions, focusing on their physical and mental well-being. Additionally, to help employees better balance work and family, MEAN WELL offers flexible working hours, allowing employees to choose from three different start and end times to meet personal and family needs. We have also received multiple government-issued health workplace certifications, including the Health Promotion Mark and the Tobacco Harm Prevention Mark.

MEAN WELL adheres to the principle of "Reliable Partners for Sustainable Development," striving to create a better environment for the next generation. In the future, we will continue collaborating with group subsidiaries and various partners to cultivate a sustainable talent pool.
