In 2000, Mr. Guodong, the president of MEAN WELL Lin, under the motive of "Take from the society and use it for the society", instructed the establishment of the "MEAN WELL Public Welfare Society". It was originally established for the purpose of organizing or donating charities and serving projects. Including: regular donations, case relief and charity activities, etc. In recent years, in order to fulfill the corporate responsibility to the society and enhance the atmosphere of employees participating in voluntary services, it was officially renamed "MEAN WELL Social Welfare Committee" in 2008. The committee and director-general system, in addition to the promotion of humanities, environmental protection, caring and other public welfare activities, has further expanded to become one of the corporate missions, and promotes social harmony and warmth with the company's meagre influence.

Composed of various department heads, Mr. Lin Guodong, President, personally serves as the chairperson, and a full-time charity commissioner does plan and execute charity activities. "Corporate Social Responsibility" is not a slogan at MEAN WELL, but is deeply rooted in the values of all employees. Everyone also showed concrete actions in various charity care activities. Long-term care for disadvantaged groups such as: Xinzhuang Aixin Nursery School, Yucheng Foundation Charity Shelter Workshop, etc., as well as the emergency relief of the August 8 Flood, all showed the heart of giving back to the society. Every year, all corporate volunteers are called on to participate in the large-scale activities of "MEAN WELL Environmental Protection Day" and "MEAN WELL Public Welfare Day" , leading all MEAN WELL employees to become global innovative, harmonious and healthy corporate citizens.
