The MEAN WELL SMU01/SMU02 series has been a trusted solution for over a decade, with cumulative sales exceeding hundreds of thousands of units. To address the growing demand for enhanced cost-performance efficiency, MEAN WELL is introducing the new SMU01-N/SMU02-N series—1W/2W unregulated, isolated DC-DC converters.
The main features of these two series are: SIP4 international standard pin configuration, compact size, ±10% input range, low cost, ultra-wide operating temperature range of -40 to +105℃, no damage under output short-circuit conditions, 1500Vdc input/output isolation, compliance with EMI Class B without requiring additional components. The internal potting encapsulation enhances heat dissipation, extends product lifespan, and provides superior resistance to dust, moisture, and vibrations. These characteristics make them ideal for applications in electronic instruments, ICT equipment, industrial automation, distributed power architectures (DPA), and system devices demanding high safety isolation standards.
